We standby the saying “less is more” when it comes to care products for leather furniture. Often, furniture sales companies will market “leather care” kits and almost always tell you that it is a necessary purchase.
While there may be a very small percentage of care kits that are worth it, most are not and even worse; create more wear and aging to the leather material over time.
There are definitely exceptions to certain delicate leather materials (aniline, nubuck, ect) that we always suggest sticking with professional care, 100% genuine leather is easily kept clean with a slightly damp microfiber cloth and a once per year conditioning. (Disclaimer: excessive spills or pets dander/messes are another story)
